Lesa Schaive

Lesa Schaive
Reception Center Specialist

Lesa Schaive was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. She joined the Butler Family of Organizations in 2002 as a Hospitality Associate. Lesa worked for over 17 years in the hotel industry, including the Holiday Inn East in Springfield and The Holiday Inn Conference Center in Decatur, where she held a variety of positions from Human Resources Director to General Manager. Lesa has been active in the Hospitality and Culinary Arts Program at Lincoln Land Community College and served as an adjunct instructor for more than 13 years.  

Retiring from the State of Illinois in December 2018, Lesa transitioned within the Butler Organization to her current role as the Reception Center Specialist at the Prairie View Reception Center. 

Lesa remains active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors and the Selection Committee of the Springfield Sports Hall of Fame. She will end a four-year term as President in June 2020.  She volunteers and enjoys her role as a hostess to the reigning Illinois State Fair Queen and is involved with the Miss America organization acting as hostess and guide to the reigning Miss Illinois. 

Her interests include shopping, traveling, staying active, and leisure time poolside.

Joe Gragg

Joe has been serving as a bartender for more than 30 years at the American Legion and Prairie View Reception Center.

He and his wife, Diane, are 30-year residents of Chatham and have four children: Joe, Michael, Shawn (deceased), and Collin.  

Joe is an Army Veteran having served as an infantry truck driver in Germany during the Vietnam conflict.    He retired from the City of Chatham as a Water Supervisor. 

To keep busy, Joe owns a lawn care and snow removal business. He enjoys socializing, loves cars (he owns seven), and riding his motorcycle.  Joe also likes hunting, fishing and sports, and considers himself an equal opportunity baseball fan since he likes both the Cardinals and the Cubs.

Noah Mehan

Noah Mehan was born and raised in Central Illinois. He joined the Butler Family Organizations as a bartender in 2019 at Prairie View Reception Center. Noah brings 10+ years of bartending and nightclub experience to the team. 

Prior to joining the Butler Family, Noah spent 10 years in the telecommunications industry building his IT and AV knowledge base. He went on to become a Small Business Expert in this field as well. 

In his free time, Noah enjoys being a volunteer football coach for the Springfield Youth Football Organization. Other interests include being outside and spending time with his wife, daughter, and three dogs.
